On Monday 11.9.2017 year 1 and 2 students and class teachers set off to the remote, rural Planinka estates for an Adaptive Course. The mission of the 2 night trip was to develop bonds between classes through teamwork activities and, of course, to have fun.
At first, the two year groups broke off into separate groups to complete tasks such as blindfolded Lego building, trust games and scavenger hunts. Then the years came together to complete our final night by having a barbecue around the campfire.
The new Year 2 students praised their new classmates for incorporating them into the group so well and our new Year 1 students didn’t stop laughing throughout and came away with a much stronger bond than before they left.
