From digital tests to challenging C1 English
From March 10 to 12, 2026, the sound of clicking keyboards and scratching pens could be heard at the BESST Private Bilingual High School. This year's written final exams brought a combination of traditional forms and modern technologies to our students.
The exam week began on Tuesday, March 10, with fourth-year students, for whom Slovak language and literature is the first major test of adulthood. This year's significant innovation was the electronic form of testing (eMaturita).
Wednesday, March 11, belonged to our fifth-year students, who tackled their second language of instruction – English at the C1 level. This demanding level tested their communication skills in listening, reading, and grammar.
The written marathon ended on Thursday, March 12, with students who decided to take their final exams in mathematics.
All written papers will now be evaluated at the NIVaM headquarters or by assistant evaluators directly at the school. However, our students do not have time for a long break. In June, they will face the oral part of the internal exam, where they will once again stand before the exam commission to defend their knowledge of all four compulsory subjects.
We wish all students the best of luck with the results and lots of strength for the final preparations!
